Obersendling – a lively Munich district with excellent infrastructure and connections
The “Dein Quirin” new-build project is in a particularly advantageous city location: in just a few minutes’ walk you can be at the Isar, the Maria Einsiedel natural swimming pool – incidentally the most beautiful pool in Munich – the Flaucher, Hellabrunn Zoo or the newly designed Südpark.
If you want to get to the city center quickly, there are two public transport stations in the neighborhood: the “Aidenbachstraße” subway station (U3) and the “Siemenswerke” S-Bahn station (S7 and S20). In addition to the S-Bahn, the Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) also stops here, taking you to the foothills of the Alps or to Lake Tegernsee 28 times a day.
Shopping, going out, schools and doctors
The infrastructure around “Dein Quirin” leaves nothing to be desired. A Lidl and Rewe supermarket are within walking distance; a bakery and a delicatessen are in the immediate vicinity.
If you want to eat out, there is a wide range of options in the district: “Bürgers Wirtshaus” with a beautiful beer garden, “Dillinger’s Chicago Bar & Grill”, “Cooking Yo” with pan-Asian cuisine, “Yumira” with Korean BBQ and “Fratelli”, an Italian restaurant for the “Dolce Vita” in Italy’s northernmost city.
A little further away are the famous “Asam Schlössl” with its beer garden, the burger restaurants “Hans im Glück” and “Burger me” and of course the “Augustiner Schützengarten”, one of Munich’s most beautiful beer gardens.
Sports enthusiasts profit from an immediate proximity to several fitness clubs such as „Body & Soul“, as well as multiple tennis courts, sports clubs and the Munich Golf Club.
